CHAPTER SIX

Tommy didn’t come down for dinner that night. When Barbara tried to talk to him, he told her he had a headache and wanted to be left alone.

Linda and Barbara passed the evening without speaking, and later when Cliff went back to the resort and Darcy went out with some friends they both went up and knocked on Tommy’s door.

“Go away!” he yelled. “I don’t want to talk about it!”

“Maybe we ought to let him sleep on it,” Linda said.

“Maybe we have no choice,” Barbara said.

Barbara forced herself not to think about it. The next day Tommy got up early and left the house. He came home after everyone was in bed, and told them later he’d been on an all-day hike.

The days went past, and Barbara and Linda talked about it and decided what had happened between them was a one-time thing. They had both enjoyed it, but didn’t want to make it a habit.

“No regrets?” Barbara had said.

“Of course not,” Linda had said. “I wanted to do it too.”

“Yes, but it was my idea,” Barbara said.

After that Barbara waited for her chance to be alone with Tommy. After two weeks, she was determined that he would stop evading the issue.

One morning before he had a chance to leave the house, she marched, right into his room. She heard the water going in the bathroom and walked inside, thinking the shower curtain would be closed.

“Fuck, Mom!” he shouted. “What are you doing here?”

Grabbing a towel and attempting to cover his nakedness, Tommy glowered at her. Barbara froze, standing in the doorway of the tiny bathroom and staring at her son’s cock.
